Xerxes Break Modern AU Break, aka Mum
"You know what happened to me? I was so clever when I was young that I got bored behaving myself, and nobody was there to give me somefing constructive to do, so I turned into a hooligan instead."
Aside from big-him, this is the person bitty has interacted with the most in the Mansion, someone who found him when he first arrived and has always taken care of him when he's needed it. He trusts Break entirely and adores him, and calls him Mum. Break has been a key person in his development from a shy boy who knew nothing but his life as a servant to a blossoming child with a mischievous streak who is quick to laugh and play. Now that he lives with Break and his Liam, he feels a lot more secure than he did with Rufus gone.

	Rufus Barma, aka Rufus the guardian
	"I don't care if you're useful, I care that you're you."
One of the first things Rufus did was ask bitty if he wanted to be his ward instead of his servant, and although it took a while for bitty to figure out how to decide and say yes, Barma's encouragement of him and love is important to him. So important that when Rufus disappeared, bitty was nearly kidnapped while looking for him, so desperate to get him back. Before he disappeared, Liam was going to ask if it was okay to call him Dad, and he still has a Father's Day gift for him.

"Don't you think if we could make them go away with magic, people wouldn't appreciate getting hurt enough to be careful anymore?"
Bitty likes this Liam a lot, and is rather uncertain about the many differences between him and big-him. It's confusing to him, and he feels sometimes like liking Liam is an insult to big-him. He doesn't say anything about it, though. He did give him a Father's Day gift, in part to continue the 'Mum' joke.

	Mad Hatter Snuggle Buddy
	"A little mud never hurt anyone, and it washes out easily enough compared to other things."
Although bitty is aware that Chains are dangerous, it wouldn't occur to him to think Hatter is, which may be a bad thing. Instead, he considers Hatter someone he can snuggle with and climb on and talk to, and he's very fond of the Chain.

Shelly Rainsworth Miss Shelly
"It's alright, dear! Getting muddy is what little boys do!"
Bitty has no idea that Shelly killed big-him, and he'd probably have difficulty believing it if someone told him. To him, she's the quintessential mom, and in some ways he's jealous of little Sharon for having her.

	Elliot Nightray kitty lover
	"Edgar! You're not supposed to take the ocean with you!"
Although they got off to an awkward start, Liam really wants to be friends with Elliot. He likes him a lot and thinks they could have fun adventures.

Elliot Nightray meanie
"F-friends--? I don't just become friends with people!"
These two got off to a rough start, and initially really disliked each other. However, Elliot helped him when he broke his arm, and was very protective when he heard of the near-kidnapping, and bitty is fairly attached to him now. He thinks Elliot is funny when he tsuns. He hasn't seen him in ages, and he's fairly certain Miss Mansion sent him home. That's a little sad for him because he kind of saw Elly as, well, a big brother.

	Sharon Rainsworth bitty
	"...I like your dress, where did you get it?"
Liam has a bitty crush on Sharon. She's a quiet, shy little girl, but as they get to know one another, they play more and more. Sometimes they team up to snark at people.

Kevin Regnard Mister Kevin
"He chased me into the house, picked me up when he caught me, carried me to the kitchen, and when I finally got away he threw a butter knife after me and nearly hit me in the head."
Liam isn't entirely sure about Kevin. He likes the man because he reminds him of Break in some ways, and he's helped him by taking him to the library to get information about Turtle, but Kevin is very standoffish. So bitty's following advice he got from Mister Liam on how to approach people who are scared, and moves slowly and doesn't talk to loudly. When he remembers to, anyway.

	"Avoiding stomach trouble and Barma trouble is always a good idea."
Liam isn't entirely sure how to approach this big-Liam, because he's so jumpy. But at the same time, he does really cool things with pictures, and Aiden calls him Nuncle Photo, which is kind of cool. He learned from Aiden that he's in another town, and has guessed that means he's dead.

Gilbert Vessalius pre-Tragedy AU Gil
"Then we really will have to watch him and find out who his special person is. Because they'll definitely be yours someday too!"
Bitty Gil was the first person Liam really got to regard as a sibling, since he's never felt close to his blood brother. They got to know each other quickly, and Rufus was guardian to both them and the two little Vincents. Additionally, they had a tendency to be partners in crime, like to find out who big-him's special person was. Bitty knows Gil is gone, but he really misses him.

	Knave the safe Glen
	"Do animals not usually sing?"
Liam was frightened of Knave at first, believing him to be Glen Baskerville. Finding out he was a Chain didn't reassure him much, but generally he likes Knave. They watched Disney movies together when the Mansion turned modern. He just very much prefers NOT to take his shortcuts.

Gilbertine Nightray Miss Gil
"That's all right. I have my master, you have yours, and that's enough."
Bitty came across Gilbertine first when she was having a tantrum and throwing things, which probably wasn't the best introduction. But he recognized that she was upset and asked if she wanted a hug. He also discovered her when she was turned into a cat. He loves her cooking, having gotten to eat her food on special occasions, but he's still a bit shy to ask if she'll make him something.

	Gwen Baskerville Miss Gwen
	"He hasn't come back yet, no, but he will. I know he will, Liam."
Gwen was one of the people who looked in on bitty and comforted him when big-him was killed, while he was waiting for him to revive, and reassured him that he would come back. That meant a lot to bitty, and so she earned a feather during St. Bridget's Day and he even got her to wear a pretty dress.

Leona bookworm, mean
"You can sit with me if you want. If you're quiet."
They read together on a swing by the lake, but then Leona hit him when he broke his arm and was crying, so they can never be friends.

	Xandra Break Xani
	"Mm, perhaps when you have grown another couple of feet, you will manage to find out."
Xani was the one who encouraged him, in some ways, to try crossdressing. Innocently of course, by telling him how to act like a proper girl. So he already liked her, and then she saved him from the kidnapper. He feels badly that he was dumb and had to be rescued by her, but she will always be important to him. He has no idea that she's currently boinking big-him. Won't that be an interesting conversation?

"Oh, Mr. Lunettes is a father. Break is the mother?"
Liam liked Vincent and wanted to be friends, but he seemed not to like him and be very territorial of Gil. He disappeared with his brother.

	March Hare Miss Hare
	"Yet, my dear, yet~ Though you are not contracted to me, you will still be my contractor~ It is only a matter of time, after all-- one that I have forever of~"
Bitty only met this version of his future Chain twice, but her very presence was comforting to him. The second time, they had tea and danced. He misses her.

Rufus Barma Master Rufus, or sir
"Fifteen years is a long time to rectify that, Liam. But for now, you will need to stay by my side, for you to learn."
This Barma found Liam when he had just arrived--or rather, right after big-him had been turned into him. He is not, however, Rufus. It isn't that Liam holds it against him so much as it's hard for him to know how to act around him, because this Barma reacts differently from Rufus.

	Mad Hatter Miss Hatter
	"Tiny Liam? How is the big one so big if this one is so little?"
Bitty doesn't know this Hatter as well as the other, but she did try to help him find Rufus, and she's been quite kind to him. When he met her, she and Mister Hatter were singing tunes from Sweeney Todd and making meat pies. As with the other Hatter, he is very trusting of her, which may or may not be a good thing.

Liam Lunettes almost-uncle
"He'll be back, and you'll be fine. And we'll find out who did this and make them regret it."
Bitty had no idea this Liam existed until he knocked on his door while big-him was dead. He mistook him for a revived big-him, and the result was tears, but Liam comforted him. Later, they exchanged feathers at St. Bridget's Day, and had crepes together. Liam genuinely likes him.

	Xerxes Break mute!Break
	"Frown too much and your face might stay that way~"
Liam rather likes this Break. In the short time he knew him, Break started to teach him sign language, and also attempted to comfort him when Rufus left. This would be bitty's second favorite Break.

Liam Lunettes Miss Liam
"Corsets can be uncomfortable if you aren't used to them. But laced loosely and sized properly they can aren't complete monstrosities."
Bitty saw right through her Miss Lissandra disguise at the very first. She scared him a little when they first met with talk of the second floor being a dangerous place to live, and he was a bit wary after that for a bit. But she mellowed out--especially after her future son arrived--and he's quite fond of her now. He sometimes brings new arrivals to her, because he knows he's fairly bad at explaining the Mansion.

	Aiden Lunettes not!son?
	"Least we have cookies."
Though younger than Liam is, Aiden is one of Liam's good friends. It's also a little confusing for Liam to think about how they're related because he's not a girl but he's genetically his mom? So confusing! He feels very protective of Aiden, like a big brother might.
